Anyone buy a doppler?

Just wondering how many other girls on here bought a doppler....of course I did.  I couldn't help myself and I'm hooked.  It's the most amazing sound :-)

    I got one at maybe 9-10 weeks? DH was cute last night- asked "Do we have any gel left? I want to hear my baby". We have an ultrasound today, but since that is the first time he asked I said okay. Usually I am the one on a Sunday (our only day off together) to ask "wanna go play with the doppler?" lol. I try not to use it more than once a week.

    I haven't bought one (yet!). However, everytime I see posts on them I really want one. Lol.

    I bought one around 10 weeks,  I heard the HB pretty soon after that but it took awhile to find.  Now I can find it easy.  I use it every other day for maybe 1 or 2 mins.

    It's really sooo different than hearing the hb at the dr's office.  I was all teary eyed the first time I found it.

    i have one, but have still been unable to find baby's HB. i can find my pulse (it's at 80-ish bpm) but never anything more than that. everytime i go to OB, baby's HB has been above 140, so i know this one isn't baby.

    makes me nervous, but oh well...1.5 more weeks till next appt.

    yup, i'm trying right on top of my hair (ew), that is where the dr has found it the last few times i've gone in. 

    Mine is a little higher than that.  I tried that at first, but couldn't find anything.  My baby is also over a tiny bit to my left.  I just kind of worked it in tiny circles until I found it the first time.

    One of my good friends loaned me hers.  She got hers because she had gone through multiple losses.  I've been having some odd spotting every few weeks and with my previous miscarriage, it gives me so much peace of mind.  I actually had a little episode yesterday.  DH asked if I wanted to try the doppler.  Once I heard that heartbeat, I knew that everything was fine.

    We haven't bought one and I'm hoping to just stick with appointments to hear (although I am certainly waiting to feel the little one and would love to check in more often!)
