I have been uber paranoid about this pregnancy in general but I was a little better yesterday and then this morning I felt something was off again. When I went to the bethroom there was brown on my pantyliner. I feel crampy and am totally freaking out. I know it could be nothing and I did have spotting with G and it obviously turned out ok. Can you give me your spotting stories-- good and bad, want to be prepared. Thanks.

Re: please talk me off the ledge, started spotting.
I gushed blood, not just spotting, at about 7 weeks, right after my u/s and I was convinced it was over. Went in the next day and saw a perfect heart beat and a SCH. That was the start of the gushes. It happened at least once a week until the end of the first tri when the SCH was no longer visable.
Scary every time, but it turned out well with me. (((hugs)))
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

I know it's really hard not to worry...I remember bawling my eyes out the first time I was bleeding with Reed. I had a placental abruption with him in 2nd trimester and continued to bleed until I delivered him.
With Penny I had no spotting at all and then one day...it started. But with her it never escalated past mild spotting.
I hope your little one is just snuggling in there. The doctors I saw always told me that there is about 30 reasons for spotting/bleeding during pregnancy and 90% of the time they never figure out what it really was. Sensitive cervix? Some people spot after a bowel movement. Some people spot after sex.
Hugs!
No blood whatsoever with Caroline, and she is perfectly fine.
TONS of blood with Parker, and so far, he's perfectly fine.
I think its just one of those things (unfortunately) that happen, scare the sh!t out of you, and then you go on because it is almost always nothing.
Hang in there, Mama!!

I BLED. Like seriously bled like I had my period with D. I called the RE and he said to come in the next day. I did, and we were totally prepared to hear we were having another miscarriage.
We saw a heartbeat.
I know how scary it is- it is awful, but spotting can be fairly common. Hang in there, honey. Can they get you in for an u/s today?
XO
FIrst off I'm sorry. It sucks...period.
Second these were my experiences. FIrst pregnancy - spotted brown and red ended in m/c at 7 weeks. Second pregnancy - spotted brown only (maybe a TINY pink) turned out great - singleton who is 3. Third pregnancy - HAD A FREAKING PERIOD I KID YOU NOT. Cramps and full on bleeding. So far I'm 24 weeks pregnant with the twins so clearly it turned out fine.
I know ANY spotting sucks but for us IF who do treatments its SO SO normal to spot. Can you go to the RE today and get checked?

I had some spotting (browish pink) at about 7 wks this time around. I was so nervous that when I went for a sono they would tell me that I lost the baby. Turns out my cervix was probably irritated from the combo of prog supps, 2 vag cam sonos in a week and sex.
With the boys, the day after my NT scan I gushed bright red blood - like go to the ER and make sure everything is ok. It was but scared the crap out of me. Blood isn't always doom. Drink lots of water and try to relax as much as possible. Can you call your RE and get in for a scan? {{hugs}}}

I had brow and bright red spotting at about the same place you are. Thinking good thoughts for you.
With Mark I started spotting brown and that went on for 5 days and the next day I filled the toilet with bright red blood. Ended up being a small SCH. This time I had dark red bleeding/gushes for 2 days and then it turned to brown mostly when I wiped but I always had some in my pantyliner, it lasted for 7 full days. No known cause but that was a few weeks ago that it stopped and so far so good with this little one.
Sorry you're going through this, bleeding/spotting is always scary.

I spotted several times with Hayden. The first time was before my first u/s and i freaked. I called my RE in tears. They reassured me that it can be common. I had an u/s the next day that showed a h/b. I spotted several other times from brown to pink to red. It was discovered i had placents previa which caused the spotting.
I spotted and bled off and on until about 10 wks. It was terrifying but everything turned out ok.
Thinking good thoughts for you!

brown = old blood.
Red is more concerning.
However... I bled bright red and HEAVY from weeks 5-7.
Lord knows it was just the beginning of Jace pushing my buttons and making me crazy.

GUSHED at 11 wks and 13 weeks GUSHED bright red blood. Amelia is just fine!
Hang in there lady!! Your worries will be put aside Wednesday when you see four (just kidding) one amazing heartbeat!!!!
(((hugs))) I hope everything is ok! I too had spotting starting at 7 weeks and lasting until 12 weeks. It started brown, and I was scared - went it, and it was fine. Then it progressed to red, and I was really scared - went it, and it was fine. Then back to brown, lighter, lighter, gone and then it would start again. It was such a roller coaster, but as you know, it can be common.
I hope all is fine and am glad to hear they could get you in today. (((hugs))) again.
