Bath time help

Any tips on making bath time easier? K used to like her baths ok, she would atleast play for a little bit and let us wash her. Now she hates it and screams the whole time. We can not get her to sit at all, she spends the whole time clinged on to my sholder. She has toys and we have tried to get in with her. The freak out happens whether we use the duck tub or the regular tub, and she has never been a fan of baths in the sink. Any advice or do we just have to wait it out and hope it gets better?

Does she get cold?

Only thoughts are - try lots of fun bubbles, let her play with shaving cream on the side of the bath, make sure you have enough water in the tub for it to be warm and fun, skip baths and try the shower, make sure you wash her hair last so her head doesn't get cold.

The boys went through a phase right around that time too. They hated it. We just did baths very quickly. When they calmed down in there we would let them spend more time in there. Could you maybe try a different time of day? Are you bathing her at night? Maybe she's tired and that just adds to the stress.

It can be a PITA, but have you tried getting in with her? It might help her get over the hump, as I would think this is just a phase.
