I have no idea when to have DD's party.. what do you think of these options? It is a small group of adults and kids.
~ Wednesday evening - DD's actual bday - I feel like it would be really tough for people to squeeze in a party after work especially if they have kids (end of day grouchiness, bedtimes, etc), but I could be wrong
~ Saturday - either a brunch or lunch? I was thinking it would be nice to serve brunch-y food for a change, but maybe people don't want to try to make it out at 10am on a Sat?
~ Columbus day - I have mixed feelings about asking people to come to a bday party on their day off, any thoughts?
We have so much other stuff going on too, so I'm not sure what day to choose..

I would do Sat (brunch or lunch is fine) or Columbus Day brunch. That way if ppl have stuff to do on Columbus day, it is probably after your party anyway. I would be fine at 10am on a Saturday. We did 11am today for dd's party, but any earlier would have been hard bc of church.
One thing that is great if you do a brunch is egg bake. You can make it ahead and then stick it in. Lots of fruits, and some pastries? We did my bridal shower as a brunch and food wise it was pretty easy.
Saturday brunch! I would *think* that most kids (therefor adults) are up & awake well before 10.
Then again this is coming from the woman that is excited it is almost 6:30 & both boys are still sleeping lol
