It was pretty exciting here (Western Massachusetts). My road flooded on both ends, so we were trapped. All the major highways around here closed, so even if my road wasn't flooded we couldn't have gotten anywhere anyways. A lot of schools and businesses are closed today and tomorrow.
I'm in northern VA, and everything here is peachy. We had 19 hours of rain, but the power didn't go out in our neighborhood. Our dogs weren't pleased by having to do their business in the pouring rain, but they dealt with it.
And gig 'em! I'm class of 99, what year did you graduate?
I'm from southern NH and we didn't get that much. Lots of branches down everywhere and areas with no power. We lost power for about 9 hours today and some other nearby towns are still out. After our terrible ice-storm a few years ago...anything else seems like a piece of cake.
checking in from virginia beach here. our power was out since two pm yesterday until around six thirty today. thankfully its back on and there wasnt any major damage to our area.

Hello from Eastern Shore of Maryland! We're all okay! Power was out for about 24 hours here, some minor branches down in our yard, and some trees down around town, some minor flooding...thankfully nothing disastrous!

Checking in from South Jersey. We fared very well--no power loss, no damage. However, my husband is currently in the basement with the shop vac and the portable sump pump because water is still getting in from the storm. We got about a foot of rain, so we could be in for a long night. The noise is driving me CRAZY and I have an awful headache from it, but the husband is working so, so hard and really doing a great job. Our house is about 95 years old so that's going to happen. Sucks, but we made out VERY well overall.

I'm from southeast PA. ?We had water in the basement and high winds but luckily our power stayed on! ?21,000 others lost power so I am super thankful. ?First day of school was cancelled though! ?It's cool, beautiful, and sunny right now.?
Checking in from NY. I was very lucky, only a little bit of water in our basement and no power outage for us. Lots of the surrounding blocks and neighborhoods by me in Queens were not as lucky. We were definitely lucky.
