Hey everyone, I've never posted on the bump before, so hello! My H and I aren't pregnant but I'm starting to try to plan where we would go when we have a baby. Does anyone have an experience or recommendations for OBs through Fairview or Health East? We live in Minneapolis so I'd like somewhere not too far away (definitely not south of the city).
Thanks for your help!
Re: Fairview or Health East OBs
Fairview is my primary care, but I switched to Health East because their Woodwinds campus in Woodbury has waterbirth as an option and a more drug-free approach with midwives and doulas. I know a lot of people who have been very happy with Fairview, so I would say decide how you want your pregnancy and delivery to be and see which fits your plan better!

I see Elizabeth Eckhardt at Fairview Riverside Women's Clinic and really like her. I have also heard great things about the midwives there. We'll be delivering at UMMC Fairview in 7 weeks. From the tour it seemed nice, but I'll know more in October.
I have also heard good things from friends who delivered at Fairview Southdale.
I think Health East is known for a more natural approach to childbirth, although my doctor at Fairview has been very receptive to my desire to be as drug/intervention free as possible. I think both are great options - just a matter of which doctor you click with. GL!
Thanks ladies! I think I'm going to go with Health East as I like the more natural approach that they take.
