We kept our BFP secret for about a week, but we just told my mom and our best friend. We're going to announce to everyone else at Thanksgiving (barring any unforeseen circumstances) because we'll be just past that 12 week mark.

Such a tough secret to keep! We're so excited!!

We have told our parents, my sister and his best friend everyone else we are waiting until at least our 2nd dr appt! Your right it is a hard secret to keep

We've told my best friend & DH's cousin so far & are planning on telling another couple we're close friends with tonight when we get together with them! Those are pretty much the only people who know that we've been ttc, so that's why we're telling them. DH's mom lives overseas but will be here in the beginning of October, and we will tell her then so that it can be in person! If all goes well, we'll tell the rest of our family/friends as close to the 12 week mark as we can get without spilling the beans! It's SO hard to keep it in, isn't it?!

SUCH a hard secret to keep!! It's strange, we seem to be telling people who matter to us least? I live in a different city than the rest of my family and I've told 3 people at 2 different jobs who I hope can keep secrets, and I told a friend who lives out of the country. My husband has told his best friend who lives out of state and doesn't know any of his other friends, and a random co-worker who is TTC. We really want to tell my parents, but telling my mom is like telling a megaphone and my entire extended family would know in a matter of an hour, and it would kill her to not be able to tell anyone. We're going to wait as long as we can hold out!

I told my mom and sister the day I got my bfp. We also told one couple who have two kids but had gone through a m/c. I'm waiting until my first appt. to tell other family members. Not sure when everyone else will be finding out.

My sister, because she emailed me w/ a travel question about ten minutes after the bfp. If I'm still pregnant, we won't be attending my brother's wedding b/c of the travel involved (it'll be the week of or the week after my cerclage if I am still pregnant). A friend who keeps me sane. And Twitter. B/c they don't care or overlap most of my groups.

I'll tell my mom if the betas come out well.

Beyond that, playing it by ear. Given out history, my husband said we could tell people on the way to the hospital for delivery. He's only half-kidding.

Only my best friend knows. We only told a few people last time, and even then it was horrible to tell them we weren't pregnant anymore. I honestly don't have much of a desire to tell anyone, including family.

Just my parents, DH's parents and his sister (who happened to be at his parents' house when we called to tell them). We will probably tell other brothers and sisters and friends after my 9 week appt. I tried to wait until 12 weeks with my last pregnancy, but I had already gained almost 15 lbs. by 9 weeks, so my friends knew something was up

With my first child I waited until the 12 week mark, but this time around I have decided to tell my family and husbands family. And I told my best friend. Still really nervous and cant wait for an ultrasound...

Telling my parents tonight and called DH's parents about 10 min ago... we waited until...... a digi confirmation haha. This is our first pregnancy after our loss in June at 9 weeks so we are going to hold out as long as possible before we tell everyone else.

The only person I have told so far is my hairdresser. It is driving me crazy not to be able to talk to my mom about it! We are planning on telling my parents and our siblings on Wed (his parents are out of town for 10 days so we will be telling them when they get back..I cannot wait that long to tell mine!)

We've told three people so far: my BFF, my co-worker and H's co-worker

We aren't telling family till after the first appointment. I come from a family of gossipers and can't keep a secret to save our life. It is the hardest thing to do not telling them.

We haven't told anyone yet! My parents are in town and we're planning on telling them at the end of the week, otherwise we're going to keep the secret until we get in to see the doctor! Nobody knows we were TTC!

It's hard to keep the secret, but fun knowing that only the two of us know right now...
