there is no way I am hiding this bump for 2 more months!

I know it is my 3rd baby, 5th pregnancy, but SHEESH! I popped like crazy from week 4 to week 5! I went shopping yesterday for a dress and seriously could not find anything I liked or anything I could wear that would hide my bump.  There were some cute dresses that I would totally wear if I didn't care that my bump showed but still wanted to keep it a secret.  The plan was to announce it at DS's 1st Birthday party and DD's 10th (joint celebration) on October 30th ( I will be 14 weeks) which is my 32nd birthday....unless I lock myself in my house and nobody sees me, it is not happening.  I started showing early w/DS and it is true for each pg that you show sooner...I know it is bloat now, but wow! Two people asked me today if I was pg and one yesterday...I played it off and said I am still losing the weight from DS.

I guess once we see the baby and hear the heartbeat I will feel better about people knowing and not being able to hide it.  Not that I don't want to shout it from the rooftops or anything :)  I am sure you all can relate.

 

PS on a side note got some really great news that friends of ours are expecting twins! They struggle w/IF and went through IVF! They are the sweetest couple....so super happy for them!

    Eep!!  Some of it might come down because of bloat...but you may be stuck sister.  Move those announcement dates up :)

    Yeah...I doubt it.  I looked 5 months pregnant at 11 weeks last time...I just had a huge belly the whole pregnancy.  Everyone though I was having twins! Although I did have a 9lb 6 oz baby.

    Even if I had a wicked bump, there is no way I could keep a secret until 14 weeks. GL with that!

    We've already told everyone we wanted too but you are right about the more pregnancies the quicker you show. All of my clothes are already getting tighter and I have the lovely muffin top that I did not have two weeks ago and I know im not eating more. GL but I don't think you will be able to hold out until 14 weeks unless you wear all flowy tops.

    I didn't think the bloat would hit this early, but I woke up this morning and got dressed for church, the whole time thinking "already?!?!". The BeBand has made it's appearance and I don't think it is going anywhere. I didn't look like this until at least 8 weeks with DS, and this bloat is much higher this time. Last time I looked like I had a beer gut, but I guess at least this one I could pass off as an actual bump instead of pure bloat.

    Huh, this is my 2nd and I'm not even wearing my BeBand yet. I had pulled it out by 6 weeks last time. Of course by the time I go to bed at night I look like I'm about 7 months pregnant, but my pants still fit the same. Weird.
