Pregnant after IF
Intro :)
Hi girls !
Some of you may recognize me from 3T or ttgp. But, here's a quick intro anyway.
After a year of trying, (charting,etc) and a visit to my Ob, life kinda got crazy. The Ob found thyroid nodules and while I was dealing with that, I got appendicitis. During my appendectomy, my surgeon noticed my Fallopian tubes were giant swollen sausages, instead of delicate slender tubes.
That pretty much led me to my RE. I was diagnosed with bilateral Hydrosalpinx and had both of my tubes removed. After I finished healing from that, I did my first cycle of IVF, and got super lucky.
We transfered 2 5 day blasts and my first beta (13 dpo) was 131. My next beta is scheduled for Monday. Please excuse me if I'm a bit slow for the next week or so. I am dealing with a case of OHSS, and I feel kinda awful. But, I am very excited to be joining this group

After 2 1/2 years TTC, 3 IUI's, endo, and a lap, a surprise BFP brought us Alexandra Marie!
DH became a double above knee amputee with traumatic brain injury (TBI) - July 2009
TTC - August 2009 DX: Severe MFI & TF due to TBI
DH SA 0 count, started clomid therapy - November 2010
DH SA 0 count, increased clomid dosage - January 2011
DH SA 75 million with 60% motility!! - May 2011
IVF with ICSI ONLY OPTION - May 2011
3dt of 2 Grade A 8&7 cell embryos May 19, 2011
+HPT May 30 2011 -- Memorial Day!
Beta #1 = 34 Beta #2 = 101.8 Beta #3 = 603!

Congratulations! I hope you are feeling better soon - OHSS is nothing to sneeze at - make sure you take very good care of yourself and your little one(s)!!!

Dx: Hypothyroid, High FSH, Low progesterone, Blocked left tube
BFP 5-2-11; m/c 5-9-11
July 2011: 50 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI #1 (7/13) + Progesterone = BFP!!
