1.) I've petted a fully conscious male lion
2.) I almost inherited someone's pet cougar once
3.) I have a scar on my leg from getting bitten by a bob cat when I was younger.
I was stupid and accidentally put two truths and a lie (sleep deprivation much? Lol) but yeah, that was one of them
1. I'm pregnant.
2. I was a virgin when I got married.
3. DH and I have gotten kicked out of Walmart.
Nope:).
3 and mine was 2
I guess 3.
1) I have slept with more girls than guys.
2) I have a pilot's license
3) I once threw up in my MIL's potted pant and then denied it.
Yep! We were buying groceries and a six pack of beer. DH told the manager he was a fvcking idiot because they made up their own rule to card not only the person buying alcohol, but anyone else with them too (DH had left his wallet in the car). We had been arguing with them and explaining TABC law (we were both certified) but he decided to be an ignorant azz so DH told him so and we were told to leave immediately and to never come back. We were back in there a couple of days later and the manager would just glare at us whenever he saw us:).
This is what I learned in my TABC class when I worked at a grocery store. I don't think they made it up.
It's legal for someone who is underage to drink if their spouce or legal guardian is over 21 and is with them. They even told us that they did it just because they suspected people coming in to buy beer for unrelated minors who were with them, and I have never ever had this happen in any other store but that one Walmart. Also, what happens if a mother wants to buy some wine or something and all of her children are not 21 or over? Is she just SOL? I can kind of see it if a bunch of kids came in and one of them had an ID showing they were legal, making a judgment call and refusing to sell to them, but a married couple, that's ridiculous.
What I remember from the class I took is that it's ok for married couples if one isn't 21, and it's ok for parents to buy with their children present (it has to be an obvious age difference). But, for married couples, how is the cashier supposed to know you're legally married if you don't have identification? If your names on your IDs are the same, the cashier could reasonably deduce that you're married. Sure, you could be siblings or cousins, but the cashier does have to use common sense.
FWIW, I refused sale to a couple because one didn't have ID, and there was no way to know they were married. I told them that I would gladly sell it to them if they could prove they were both 21, but otherwise, I couldn't legally. They asked to speak to a manager, who backed me up. It turned out there was an off-duty cop in my line at the time. He told me I did the right thing, and I very well could have been prosecuted for selling to a minor if I did sell to them.
