Suggestions for south shore pediatricians?

Hi

I am due in October with our first baby- since I have not lived in the south shore long, I was looking for suggestions for pediatricians-- Anybody go directly to South Shore hospital?

    I don't go to SSH but my pedi. is part of that group. Alot of their doctors are affiliated with Crown Colony Pediatrics in Quincy (Congress St). That's where I chose my pediatrician. They seem to have a great group of doctors there. I actually got my recommendation for them on here. Good luck!

    My doc is at Weymouth, behind South Shore hospital. It is South Shore Pediatrics, Use Dr Traina.

    Loved them. Six months almost with them.

    We also use SS Pediatrics.  We see Dr. Katz.  I love this office; have been going there almost 6 years now.  I've always been able to get an appt. when needed, they are great w/call backs, they have a nurse you can call with questions at any time.  I have had to call after hours, and have always received a call back very promptly.  Also, I've had times where I've needed to speak directly w/my DDs pedi and he's always been able to call me back the same day.

    Hi, Where on South Shore are you?  We have heard good things about Scituate Pedi.  We are due in August and think that is where we will end up.  Good luck.

    I live in Cohasset and I LOVE our pedi (COhasset Pediatrics on 3A).  They are wonderful, a practice of 4 pedis all of whom are at SSH.  They came and checked in on us everyday at the hospital (was there 4 days) and are lovely. 

    And I was also very very happy with SSH.  If you are planning to BF, they have wonderful resources, in particular the breastfeeding clinic everyday at 1:00pm.  The LCs there are great.

    We go to Dr. Christine Polcari at South Shore Pediatrics--they are associated with SSH and they have weekend and evening hours, offices in Kingston and Norwell.
