Do you take them off every day? I used to take my wedding and E ring off everyday when I showered, but at some point I stopped. Now they don't come off very easily.

Mine come off when I am at the house. I only wear mine out. Sometimes if I am just running to pick up A I don't even put them on. I am a bad wife. I think if I actually like my rings then I would wear them a little more. My rings are tight and bulky.
I wear my E ring and two wedding bands but rarely take them off. I bake a lot and nine times out of ten I even forget I'm wearing them when I stick my hands in a giant bowl of bread or pizza dough. They get cleaned by the jeweler once a month for that reason.

I wear a cheapo band that we got in Mexico on our honeymoon I think.
MrBunny has already lost his wedding ring and I've come close a couple of times.
I haven't worn my engagement ring since I got married.
Fuuck TTC - I'm moving on.

"Ew. I've read all of two posts from you, and you stink like rotting garbage."
My engagement ring/wedding band are welded(?) together as one piece and it only comes off while I'm doing my make up or using hair products, or anything else that will cake in the ring. It's a PITA to get really clean.

I only take mine off when I shower or swim. DH lost his wedding ring on the honeymoon b/c we wore them in the ocean like morons. From then on, we take them off around water.

I wear my rings 24/7 . The only time I take them off is when I am
1. cleaning them
2. cooking with a doughy or greasy food and my hands are dealing with it.
3. Putting lotion on
I also take them off when I am doing some re-decorating and painting the walls. Latex paint is a B!tch to get off out the crevices of diamond rings, so if I am going to be painting, the rings come off
I wear mine all the time, but leave them by the sink at night. A few weeks ago my engagement ring was gone. After tearing the house apart we found it under a dresser with all the cat toys. Bad kitty!
I have a Claddagh ring that I haven't taken off since I got it when I was 13 (so, 11 years.) I have a permanent mark on my finger from it.
I had a ring I wore everyday that my nana gave me for my 18th birthday. It was a pink sapphire with small diamonds around the sapphire and going down the white gold band. One day last year I looked down at my hand and the sapphire was gone. I was absolutely heartbroken. I probably should have taken that off when I was at least at home.

DH's grandma chewed my ass when we wrecked last year. She found my ring on the interstate. She picked it up thinking it was someone else's. She showed it to DH and he told her it was mine. After I got out of the hospital she threatened to glue it to my hand. I had taken it off and put it in the back window while I was sleeping. I guess it got thrown around and out of the car when the semi hit.
I love my rings and wear them every day, but I take them off when it's not practical to wear them (showering, swimming, painting, etc.) I also take them off when I photograph babies because they get snagged in the blankets.
I only take them off if I'm baking/cooking something really messy or mowing the yard (they rub against the mower handle and I get bad blisters under the rings - really hurts).
I actually forget to put them on all the time. H and I are both terrible at wearing our rings. He doesn't because of work, I don't because I take them off when baking/cleaning/showering/sleeping/etc and forget to put them back on.

I take mine off when I shower and it's not rare that I forget to put them back on for days at a time. I don't really like to wear them to work because I bang my hands on everything. But when I have them on I don't take them off to sleep or cook.
I take mine off every night, but I usually wear them all day. I had to take them off when I did a clinical in the NICU and it felt weird not having them on, but it was nice not to gunk them up with the hand sanitizer junk.

I never took them off - unless maybe I was painting in the house (and that was only sometimes). I wore them in the shower, to bed, cleaning, etc. I had to take them off a few weeks ago because my fingers were swelling too much and I miss them.
I take mine off at work, depending what I am doing that day (I am a carpenter in the Air Force) and when I am baking. Other than that, I always wear mine. I got my E ring and wedding bands soldered together, so its just one ring now.

Mine only come off when I'm a) putting hair products in b) wearing latex gloves at work c) mixing something with my hands (like dough or meatloaf). Otherwise, I wear them all the time. I've been meaning to get them soldered for a long time, I've just not done it yet.
DH takes his off to put on shaving cream, & that's about it. He got a Tungsten band so that he can do whatever without worrying about his ring.
