I live in a small apartment so dont have room for anything big or bulky.
between all his toys etc i need something that is not gonna occupy too
much room. thanks.
We have the same chair, but in a different color. I highly recommend it! It's small, portable, and it fits on the chairs we already have. It's easy to clean, our seat cover is cloth so when he's eating something messy I just take it off I highly recommend it!
We also have this one in a different pattern. I LOVE IT!!! I wish the materials were more "wipeable," but it is very easy to take off and wash. I love that is grows with DD too!

We Also have the SpaceSaver chair and love it & ditto about the material!
It does not fit under my table, but pulls right up to it. The arms kind of keep it from going "under". But it doesn't keep the chair out enough to really notice.
it's great until your child is about 18 months and you want to use it as a booster...then you realize it doesn't push into the table and it pretty much useless.

We have the Svan and LOVE it, it's a little pricey but the highchair is good for ages 6 months to 99 years (I just thought it was hilarious that it actually said that). It's adjustable height and is very compact, it also doesn't really look like your typical plastic-y high chair which I liked. There is also the Stokke which has a similar style of being wood and really lightweight and not bulky... it's pricey as well but an investment and it's on sale right now at the website below.
We have the Graco Contempo (Rittenhouse pattern) in our small condo. It folds up super slim and fits right under our breakfast bar for storage. I love this!
We have a really small house too and tried out the FP Space Saver but ended up not liking it because it wouldn't fit all the way under our table so it didn't really save that much space. Ended up getting the OXO Sprout and I LOVE IT! Not only is it cute, but it has a pretty compact footprint so it just sits in a corner and doesn't get in the way at all. It's a little on the pricey side, but I was hooked on the aesthetic and the reviews.

Re: Recommendations for small compact highchair?
I have this one and frankly I would have it even if we had a huge dining room. I love that it fits on one of the chairs.

This is all we've ever used and love it. Didn't start LO on solids until 6m so she was sitting up and it was just fine

We skipped a high chair and have used this from the start: https://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-Healthy-Care-Deluxe-Booster/dp/B0000DEW8N
It is great. Cheap, easy to clean, and can fit under our table if we want to go sans tray.

We use this! I ordered it online for $30 and DS loves it! I do still use a regular highchair at home.
