A little nervous

We just go marry in July and I'm already pg.  I have to admit my husband and I have been trying since we got engaged and I'm 40, but I didn't expect it to happen because we had been trying for so long. 

Anyway, we decided to tell my dad and stepmom tonight.  I called my dad the other day and asked them to dinner.  I never do this because my family is full of drama.  My dad starts asking me "What's wrong?, Do you need money?, I don't have any money.  Are you guys already getting a divorce, get your own lawyer."

Give me a break.  At least my stepmom tells me that she has some idea of why we want to eat dinner, but she'll wait until tonight.  giggle giggle.

    Wow congrats! And GL telling the parents.
    IUI #1 and #2 = BFN
    IVF#1 = BFN, no frosties

    Everything went fine. I my dad, stepmom and little sister were making bets in the cars was to why we wanted to talk to them.  Come to find out my middle sister (I'm the oldest) had already told my youngest sister.  I had told the middle sister as soon as I knew, she has a one year old and a three year old.
