  • I give myself an hour and a half so that I can get ready before my daughter gets up. It's easier that way

  • Don't hate me 'cuz I'm beautiful, Mod.  It takes me that much time, but I take my time.
  • It takes me a long time to get ready because my alertness and productiveness is inversely proportional to how early I've gotten up.  I start to fall asleep in the shower and I'm pretty sure I end up washing my hair twice on most days because I can't remember if I've already done it.  Plus cereal and anything else quick for breakfast now makes me want to puke so I end up making something like eggs and that takes more time.

    lol aqua net,

i'm pretty sure anyone alos preparing a child in the AM shouldnt worry about how much time it takes them. I have a 9yo who is pretty self sufficant yet I still have to wake up an hr ahead of time to make sure she is actually getting ready and not watching TV

  • With a 14 month old to feed and get ready in the morning it adds a lot of extra needed time. I only use about 15 minutes for me.
  • Used to take me 40 minutes, now it takes 90 minutes at times.  It's the sleepiness and the morning sickness.  I have to sit and slowly eat and wait for it to calm down, which adds like 20 minutes.  And for the sleepiness, some days, I go back to bed after the shower for 30 minutes.

Have a nice day girls! Smile
