For the price of that silly giraffe you would think it would keep its spots! I even use EF soap... LO is going to think albino is the norm!

    Man, I have had a really good experience with our Sophie... DS has been gnawing on it for two full months. Her ears are losing some color, but she still has her spots... 

    But I don't know!

    Mar '12: Homestudy interrupted by change in Uganda requirements - where do we go from here?
    After searching and searching, back with Uganda but with our homestudy agency's program.
    Homestudy complete July 19
    USCIS I-600A submitted July 20. Biometrics appointments arrived Aug 17; fingerprinted Aug 21; 171H received Sept 25th. On the wait list Oct 1st: #18. By Jan 25th, we're #13!

    We didn't have that problem, but my DD didn't really care for her Sophie.  I was glad it was a gift, because I would have been pissed if I paid $20 for a giraffe she didn't even like!

    Ours has held up pretty well.  I would suggest seeing if the maker has a website and sending a complaint email, they may send you a new one.

    We recieved Sophie as a gift and after washing her so LO could start chewing, shr stopped squeaking. I emailed the company and they are sending us a new one. Maybe try that.

    The paint has started to come off on the ears and the feet a little bit. I think it's because it's a different type of paint than what other toys have.

     Q loves Sophie once we were at his well child check when he was 4 months he was chewy and screaming the whole time. Everyone was looking and laughing

    It's food grade dye so it's not as durable, but I don't mind because I feel better about ds going to town chewing her face off.
