Albany/Saratoga Fishing

Does anyone know a good place to take kids fishing in the Albany to Saratoga area?  We don't care what we catch, as long as we catch something. A place with a lot of sunnys would be great.

My parents are here visiting and my dad wants to take L on his first fishing adventure.

    We took DD to VT this week and the fishing was great.  Went to Grafton a few weeks ago and got nothing (except for some garbage.. ).

    What about that rensselaer park, like off Fuller Rd?  I've only been there a few times but it seems to be a popular fishing spot?  I'm not from Albany so I'm not much help..

    I want to say my brother had a fun time fishing up in Washington County, but I can't remember where. I found this when I was looking. Ian's been talking about fishing lately, ever since I bought him a fishing pole game.
