I just wanted to check in and see how you're doing. I know the emotional recovery from a loss can take a lot longer than the physical, but like we said before, you are not alone!  BTW I just noticed we have the same anniversary, five years apart-hence the 528 in my sn!

    Aww... thanks so much for thinking of me.  TBH, last week... well... sucked.  I tried to do the whole fake smile, nobody knows, everything is ok thing for a day or two.  I had a major meltdown Thursday night and sobbed on the bathroom floor for a while... I think I just needed to face it and break down.  The next day, I managed to put away the baby book and a few other random items I had collected/bought and make peace with the situation.  I feel pretty ok now and this week is going much better.

    I do feel like I learned/grew a lot from this experience.  Oh- I also want to thank everyone who suggested the Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss and TTCAL boards.  They have been a wonderful source of support.  I read this one quote... "

    "An Angel in the book of life wrote down my baby's birth.  And whispered as she closed the book "too beautiful for earth."

    For some reason, just reading that brought a really powerful sense of relief/peace.  I am waiting until my cycle goes back to normal and then we will start TTC again.

    Thanks again so much for thinking of me and checking up on me.  You all have been so wonderful and so sweet!!!  I love this board!!

    Oh- and 5/28 is an extra special day, now!!!  Smile

    I'm sorry you have to go through this. I remember seeing that quote after my first loss and it gave me peace as well. Take care of yourself!

    Thank you so much!  H&H (what's left of your) 9 months to you!  Hopefully I'll be joining the crowd with a sticky baby soon.
