Lightweight Baby Sleepers

We are going to India at the end of November for 1 month.  Mosquitoes can be an issue.  I'm trying to find lightweight (long sleeved) sleepers in an 18-24 month size for DS so that he can be covered at night and protected from the mosquitos.  Do muslin long sleeve sleepers exist?

What options are there?  I don't want a short sleeve outfit and a sleep sack since his arms would still be exposed.  We should have ceiling fans in our rooms but no air conditioning and the temperatures will probably be in the low to high 60's at night (so summer temperatures)

Re: Lightweight Baby Sleepers

  • The children's place has some lightweight "stretchy's" that work well! They are narrow, so we usually go up a size. Also carters has some lightweight jammies right now. They are thin compared to the fleecy ones they have.

  • For this past summer when we were in New England where it sounds similar to what you describe, I used a muslin sleep sack with a cotton long-sleeve sleeper.  My daughter was always fine - never too hot at all.
