So I am at a park with my 2 year old and the twins and another mom with her 2 year old and new baby settle in at the bench next to us. She pulls out a nursing cover and starts to nurse her 1 month old and when she catches my eye she asks if I have 3 boys. When I tell her that I do she says "WOW, you are going to be busy." I am used to that one.
Then she says "I was pregnant with triplets but this one, indicating the baby she is nursing, is the only one that made it to gestation." I was flabergasted but I managed to say I was so sorry. She says "Trust me, that is quite alright" in a tone like she dodged a big bullet. I was speechless. Then she closes with, "What is even crazier is that they were natural." I managed to mutter that mine were also SPONTANEOUS and then tried not to make eye contact with her anymore.

That is beyond strange. As someone who unfortunately m/c spontaneous triplets I would NEVER go around saying to people "well at least there is only 2 this time around" or anything similar, she should be thanking her lucky stars that one did survive.
"Just keep swimming, just keep swimming..."
My thoughts exactly!!!
