Mucus Plug ?

How is that for a sexy Friday night question, lol. bM emailed us. She went to the hospital this morning because she was bleeding. Dr said she is 2cm dialed and lost her mp. Baby is head down. BM said it could be soon, or it could be one to two weeks. For those of you who lost your MP, how soon did you go into labor? Fwiw,, edd is sept 25, but it's based off a late term ultrasound, so it could be off by a few weeks. bM thought her edd was beginning of sept.

    For me this past December, it was right away.  But my understanding like you said is that it could still be quite some time -- no way to say, unfortunately.

    But how exciting -- wow!  PLEASE keep us posted!  I can't wait to hear your most wonderful news, whenever that may be!!! :)

    I lost my MP at 39 weeks and got super excited....nothing happened.  I had DS at 40w3d.  It wasnt until the doc stipped my membranes (atleast thats what I think he did) at my 40 w appt that i started having real contractions....
    Severe MFI resulting in IVF/ICSI #1 in Nov 2007. BFP!!
    Our beautiful son was born July 2008.
    2010: 2 IVF's,1 FET = 2 BFN's, 1 c/p :(
    Feb 2011-Unmedicated FET= BFP!! DS #2 born Oct 2011!!.

    I lost mine on THanksgiving and didn't have DS until Dec. 16th - 6 days past my due date.

    I went into labor 2 days after losing mine but I know for some it's is no indicator at all.

    I lost mine after I was admitted to L&D. At that point I was 4cm and 90 % effaced. I was 1 day past my due date.

    We have an acquaintance who lost her mp in the morning (7:00am'ish) and she had her little girl by 7:00pm that same evening. How exciting for you!
