I am never making a birthday cake again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone remind me that I said this come Feb when it's Eleanor's turn.

Longest.Day.Ever.

I made him the Dump Truck cake from Wilton and it was fun but so gosh darn much work.

But I have to say it turned out really well, especially considering it was the first time I have ever even attempted to decorate a cake myself.

I'll try to PIP tomorrow.

    I bet it looks better than you give yourself credit for!

    And I bet it tastes YUMMY too!

    Oooh, looking forward to the photo!

    I literally stayed up all night fretting over whether or not I could decorate the Wilton Cars cake. (SIL gave me the cake pan.) By morning, I said no freaking way were we doing that cake... DH was like, well maybe I'll try to do it. I put my foot down. I knew that if he tried, I'd just end up jumping in to do it, and the darn thing stressed me out. I am too much of a perfectionist for that, and just mixing all the colors seemed like a big job. We made cupcakes instead, and I was SO glad.

    Kudos to you for even attempting it! I'm impressed. :)

    Can't wait to see it!!! I have made both of Isabel's cakes and I will again this year even though I said last year I would not:)~

    I'll remind you in February but, like child birth, you will forget what a pain it was!
