I was late getting Betsy from preschool because I got pulled over for speeding!  I was thinking about making dinner and not watching my speed.  Oops!

    It's ok. I know I speed way too much especially with Beau in the car. I try to remember to go the speed limit but it's hard when everything is our culture is go-go. I have to consciencly (sp?) slow down.

    Did you get a ticket?!? From the sound of it, I'm guessing no! It happens to the best of us:)

    I jus went to traffic court today to protest a stupid ticket I got infront of the university That I take Jake to for baby classes. I did a illegal u turn. Went to Court though and got the ticket price dropped and no points or driving school. So it happens to the best of us!

    Well, I'm not sure what I got.  I was driving on the military base, but my DH is not active duty or in the reserves anymore.  We have base privileges because he was called back to active duty last summer (a total oddity here).  There was a lot of time spent on his walkie talkie when he couldn't figure out how to tell my husband's commander I was naughty.  I finally told him I was late getting my daughter from preschool so he gets pissy and presents me with what looks like a ticket, but the warning box isn't checked, there is no info on paying a fine or appearing in court and no dollar amount on it anywhere on it.  It's hand written with boxes checked.

    So I am just going to wait and see what happens.  The "ticket" has a telephone number on it, but it's to call if you can't appear in court.  I figure they can call me if they need me.

    Only down side to you not calling is you don't want to get a bench warrant over something as small as a  speeding ticket. They will not call you, they will consider it your responsibility to get in touch with them...
