Re: **Twins & Triplets Check-in**
T&P's to Illinigirl and her family.
QOTW: No favorite pro sports team, but I am an Illinois football fan. I LOVE college football. DH roots for Iowa State (his alma mater) and Michigan (not sure why he loves them so much). The girls will root for whoever they choose... but I have registered for a LOT of Illini gear.
Update: I had a growth u/s on Monday. Baby A weighs 1lb 6oz and Baby B weighs 1lb 7oz (58th and 59th percentile). I have an appointment on Friday morning for their Fetal Echo and an appointment on Tuesday for my GTT. I'm feeling good for the most part, but by the end of the day it feels like my belly is going to split open. I haven't been getting much sleep at all. I'm only 23 weeks so I get scared about what the coming weeks will be like. 5 days until V-day!!
Illinigal is still in my thoughts and prayers.
I'm doing pretty good other than my body seriously hurts. I cannot walk around or do much activity or it hurts even worse. Next Fri is my last day at work-until Feb when I plan to go back. MFM appt tomorrow for growth u/s-can't wait to see how they are growing!
QOTD: we both went to Texas Tech and DH played football there so we are huge fans...the kiddos better go there too!
We also go for the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks and Tx Rangers. Dallas is a great sports town!
Contrinued T&Ps for illinigal. My heart just breaks for her and her husband.
We had another appointment yesterday and the babies are still growing right on track! Baby A is 2lbs and Baby B is 2lbs 4 ounces. Baby A is also still breech so I am hoping she will turn soon! I took the GD test yesterday as well and I'm waiting for them to call and let me know how that turned out. I'm hoping that since I haven't heard yet, no news is good news!
Diagnosed PCOS 2/07, TTC #1 since 8/09
11/10 - Clomid Round 1 = BFN
12/10 - Clomid Round 2 = BFN
1/11 - Voluntary Break = BFN (duh)
2/11 - Clomid Round 3 = BFN
3/11 - Femara + IUI = BFP * Beta#1=56 * Beta#2=266
*Cautiously expecting baby girls on November 28, 2011*
QOTD: DH and I are both big University of GA football fans. We have season tickets but don't think they are getting much use this year. I do love football season. I follow the Falcons esp since they've been better the last few years but I'm a fair weathered fan.
Update: Ended up at the OB for three hours yesterday. I had some random spotting that no one could figure out. Looks like I'm dilated abt 1 cm but not terribly effaced. I had no contractions for 20 min on the monitor. So I'm not on bedrest but on dr shaking his finger at me "don't do too much" activity restriction...whatever that means.
Thoughts and prayers to Illingal and her sweet angels!
QOTW - Pro football is the Kansas City Chiefs, College football is Kansas State, and Baseball is Kansas City Royals. See a trend there?! These are all my husbands favorite teams too so babies will definitely love Kansas

Oh, and can I be added to the list? Due date is March 25th!
Continued T & P's for Illinigal. ((huge hugs))
Update: I have the appt. for the fetal echocardigram on Friday. I've very nervous for it. Any spare T & P's would be much appreciated.
QOTW: I wish I could say I'm loyal to a team, but I'm not. DH loves most of the Chicago teams. I watch, just because he does, but I don't really care.
My thoughts have been with illinigal and her DH all week. I'm so heartbroken for them, it just isn't fair.
I don't have a favorite sports team, but DH loves the MN Twins so I will go to games with him & watch them on TV. He's very excited to take our twins to their first game next spring!
Updates: Had my weekly appointment, NST & BPP yesterday. Both babies look fantastic and passed their NST & BPP's with flying colors. Baby boy weighs 4lb 9oz & baby girl is 4lb 10oz - right on track! My BP was high (they took it right after my u/s after I had been on my back for a good hour) after I laid down for 10 minutes it went down, but I had to do blood work & have to go back Friday for more labs. It's a PITA, but I'm glad my doctor is being cautious. I'm still 2cm dilated, but my cervix is high & posterior. So all in all it was a good appointment.
T&P's to Ill!
College Football: HUGE HUSKER FANS HERE! Both DH and I and we are loaded up on Nebraska outfits! PRO: DH is 49er's (boo) and I root foe the Cardinals!
Just got cut to part time hours at work. She told me if I don't slow these contractions down then I get full time BR (no thanks). Babies are GREAT though and I could not ask for more than that!
I hope you are all doing well and I love reading your updates!
Thoughts and many prayers from our home to Ill and her DH!! We hope it helps them to heal. ((huge hugs!!))
Update... nothing much to tell this week. I have my next OB apt. 9/1 so hopefully we can find out if our guesses are right. Both the DH and I are sure we're having one of each! (fingers crossed). My co-workers have told me, "now you really look pregnant"...ahh didn't know what to say except an awkward.."err thanks I guess". So next time I'll have news!
QOTW: okay..okay if you must know.. My teams are: Baseball: SF Giants (and world champs..hehehe I may not get to say it for another 50 yrs..so hehehe). The husband is a Colorado Rockies fan..ugh! Football Pro: Me none really. DH Broncos..double ugh! Now College Football is HUGE in our house, For me at least! I am a UTAH UTES FAN!!! it's in my blood! Born and raised in a Ute Fan household!!!! I cannot wait for the first game next thursday! My DH is a fair weather fan for my sake, but he still roots for his Dad's Ohio State! But hey they wear red too...lol!! My family have already bought 2 Ute's onsies for the twins!! Did I mention my dad teaches at the U??
So the DH really doesn't get a choice, but we love going to a great game for any sport really!
PS great question!!
Thanks ladies. I was already looking forward to cute little Illini gear. ILL!

Continued T&P for illinigal and her family, I am so heartbroken for their losses.
We have our anatomy scan and 20 wk OB appt. today, I still can't believe we've made it this far. I have been growing (and they've been moving) like crazy lately and now have a distinct bump and waddle. I had an unplanned visit to the OB last Friday as we were heading OOT because I think I passed my mucus plug, but all was fine. Can't wait to see the babies today, it's been a long month...
Q/A: Not a huge sports fan, but we cheer for both Boston and Chicago teams.

illinigal- my thoughts and prayers continue for you and your DH. I cant imagine the devastation you must feel and it breaks my heart to pieces that you lost your sweet boys. I think about you constantly
((hugs))
Update: I am totally in love. I posted earlier this week about my u/s but it was awesome. It was just the regular poor quality one in my OB's office where i usually cant even understand what i am looking at.. but this time Baby A was facing out and we got to see his adorable chunky cheek face and his big ole fat lips. He was moving his mouth "drinking" and practicing breathing, his little chest was moving up and down and we even saw him blinking! it was amazing, we were speechless and head over heels all over again. It is getting really real now!
Healthwise I am doing great he says. My feet get swollen and i hurt way more than i expected but I cant complain! I am down to working only 3 days in the office and then a couple hours from home the 2 days I am not in. It has been awesome. I am so burnt out from work anyway (i have been there 10 years!)
My c/s is officially scheduled with the hospital now on 10/12! it was supposed to be 10/11 but i guess they are booked so they moved it back a day.
iui #5 2/7 + 2/8 = BFP!! 11 dpiui

T&P to illinigal!
QOTW: I am a Tarheels fan and DH is an NC State fan! I think the babies will root for both unless they play each other...when they play each other I have no clue!!
Update: I am still on strict bedrest. Last week my cervix was shortening dramatically and I was funneling as well. However we did a ffn test on Wednesday which was negative. We are just hoping the girls make it to 34 weeks at this point. Fingers crossed.
