1. I find it interesting that Catharine is ranked higher than Catherine. It looks wrong with an 'a' to me.

2. I'm surprised that names I think of as "modern" like Amanda and Melissa were around in the 1850s. I guess that shows how little I know about them.

3. There were quite a few boy's names on there.

Ohhh I LOVE these names!

My grandma was born in 1921. Her name was Pearl. Her sisters were Margene, Dolly, and Fanny. I love their names.

Would it be that bad if I gave my kid 30 names? It would solve my problem of narrowing them down, and she/he would have a lot of options! LOL
