Where to host a shower in Boston? (not restaurant)

Looking for a place to rent in Boston: JP, Ros, HP, Brookline, anywhere really. Trying to DYI most of it in honor of my sis so I am not looking to have a restaurant bc feeding 40+ guests will be too costly for me to handle. My mom and I will cook and bring the food to the venue. We just don't have the space to host at home...

Any ideas???

    You might want to look into VFW or Elks club halls.  Any place that has their own caterer will not let you bring in outside food at all.  Depending on the time of year, you may be able to find a park that will allow outside catering.
