So hubby, family and I moved across country to Waukesha for hubby to attend grad school. We live in Waukesha and are interested in just getting to know the place better. I'm still looking for a job, which has been way slower going than I thought, and now that we're at the end-ish of July, we'll also need to take a look into child care for our youngest. Do any of you have any recommendations on child care for an 8 month old? Private home or facility...we just need to figure it out sooner rather than later, and I can't count on getting a job with an organization that has on-site daycare!
Thanks! : )
Re: New to WI! (Waukesha)
Welcome! What kind of work are you looking for? I know that we have a ton of openings where I am, and I'd be happy to help:)
As far as day care, our son is in All About Learning in West Allis, but I don't know about places in Waukesha...
La Petite Academy is a great place in Waukesha....I would stear clear of a few Kinder Care's in the area. They do not have the best reputation and I removed my daughter from one for some very upsetting conditions when she was little.
There are a lot of fun and different things to do in Waukesha.
As for employment what are you looking for..I am a hiring manager in Waukesha for a company that provides Group Homes for the diabled. The work is FT or PT 2nd and 3rd shift. Working in the group home assisting clients with daily needs. Very similair to CNA work.
