Success after IF

Zucchini Virgin

Okay I've never had zucchini and I've never bought zucchini.  I was in the grocery store yesterday and saw something that said "Zucchini Squash".  They looked like 2 medium sized cucumbers.  Is that it?  Or is Zucchini different from Zucchini Squash?  I wanted to get a couple to make some zucchini bread or something from Weelicious that maybe Nicholas would eat.

Re: Zucchini Virgin

  • Zucchini and zucchini squash are the same thing....technically, zucchini are a variety of summer squash. Sounds like you saw the right thing!

  • Aw, you're so cute!

    Yes, zucchini squash = zucchini

It's also great cut up and sauteed in a little olive oil

  • There are a gazillion recipes for zucchini...and we love pretty much all of them, lol.

Most often, we just sautee it in a little butter or olive oil, and grate a little parmesan over it...yummy...
