Coughing with teething?

Anna's got at least one other molar coming in, maybe more. Yesterday was a typical teething day, and the runny nose started up that she had last time with her molar. But this morning, she is coughing... It seems to make sense to me that all the extra saliva, etc. could also cause a cough, but this has never happened before. Has anyone else had a cough when doing some hardcore teething? Or is she likely coming down with a cold or something like that, too?

    Garrison has definitely had a cough that turned into nothing else a few times that seemed to be timed with teething. 

    She actually has had a cough and nothing else for a week now and I can see one of her 2 year molars coming in-- but I don't know if that is the case this time or not since I also have a cough now.

    Henry had a little cough about a week ago and he was/is cutting his 2yr molars, but I think it was more of a tiny cold.

    Yes, we just went through this when some molars were coming in.  The excess saliva he makes while teething is going down his throat making him cough.  He coughed alot but he wasn't sick.

    H just started that too and she is getting her two bottom eye teeth, she never coughed with any other teeth. Different teeth must just affect them differently.

    L is just starting to get her 1st 2 teeth now and has been a slobbery mess the past ~5 days (runny nose, drool).  Yesterday she also had a non-stop cough.  I thought it was from my older daughter but now I'm wondering if maybe it is teething-related.  It's hard for me to tell b/c my older daughter does have a bit of a cough though.
