New to board..

Hi, all.. I'm new to this board. I broke my water at 25w4days & my twins were born 11 days later, 27w4days.. My twin boy, unfort, passed 4 days later.. it's been a crazy sad time for us; but our blessing is our twin girl, Grace, who has been doing great.

We are in the NICU in Maine..the doctors & most nurses have been great. We live in Mass.. so we usually come home for 2-3 days now, so my husband can work & then go back for 4-6 days.. it's been a tough past 3 weeks.. after pumping for 3 weeks Ive decided I dont have the energy anymore..I wasn't getting much milk anyhow..

I just need some encouragement & support..I hope I can find it here.

Oh my goodness! I've been reading your blog! I heard about you on a FB group I believe we are members of. I think about you all the time and have been praying for your comfort and for strength to you all.

Hi Pattie! Welcome to TB! We are on MOM together, too. I've been laying low over there so you probably haven't seen much of me - but I heard of your loss and you've been on my mind a lot since yesterday (when I heard). I'm so glad you have Grace

Please post whenever - and I'll visit your blog. I'm from Massachusetts, too! I spent some years growing up in Acton, then lived in Central Sq, Cambridge for many years with a few in Noho, too!

So very sorry for the loss of your son. I'm glad your daughter is doing well, and hope she has an uneventful NICU stay. It must be so tough for her to be in a different state though. One thing I learned from our NICU stay is that there is no right or wrong - just do what ever you need to do to get through a scary, sad, and trying time. Please come here for support and understanding any time you need to.

Hi Pattie! I follow your blog religiously, and have such hope for Miss Gracie and such despair over the loss of Maxwell. You, your DH, Gracie, Maxwell, and all of your friends and family have continued to be in my T&Ps.

I also live in MA (in Bellingham), and couldn't imagine having my child at the NICU in Maine. I'm hoping that Gracie can be transferred to Boston Children's in the coming weeks.
