Washer repair recs, please

Our washing machine won't start this morning. It's got power and will turn on, but when I try to start it, it just makes a weird clicking noise. I googled "Kenmore Repair" and will probably go with Sears if no one else has any recommendations...I just like going with trusted people! :)

Re: Washer repair recs, please

  • I have one that we LOVE! His name is Todd and he owns AMS Appliance Repair. His website is amsappliancerepair.com and his phone number is 248-8055. We are in Round Rock and I think he mainly services the north austin area but call him and I'm sure he will be able to help you. He has been to our house multiple times and, he will try and diagnose it over the phone to save you the money if he can. Can't say enough good things about him!

And, I would avoid sears at all costs...they tend to be way overpriced, imo!

    Good Luck

Thank you! We are in Round Rock too, so that should be perfect. I will give him a call in a bit.

That's what I thought about Sears too - $130 just to come and look at it; everything else is extra! But they're a big name and have a chain of command, so there's that safety net, which is why I was considering them.
