the power goes out and you have a new-ish LO? Irene may be paying us a visit this weekend and I foresee a power outage. V would be peeved without his sound machine and night light, but outside of that I can't think of anything that might seem out of the ordinary for him. I feel like I'm not thinking of some obvious things that could potentially be an issue???

All of DD's sound/music stuff is battery powered. It might be worth it to find one just in case.
I don't really see us having any issue unless we can't have a microwave or if her milk gets warm in the fridge. But that's what stores are for.

LO was always fine during our Florida hurricane season. It was me that was unhappy with no air in the summer heat.
I would just make sure you have cash, gas in the car, and know where the nearest shelters in your area.
