I'm totally going to be an AW right now...

Lil D said his first word tonight!!!!  He sat down on the floor as his brother was walking into the room.  He clapped his hands and said yea....Sorry....AW over.  It's just he has been doing the dada thing for weeks and I absolutly refuse to have that officially be his first words....Since I am mama and there isn't a dada, I'm officially going with yea in his baby book Stick out tongue

    How exciting!  And of course "yea" is the first word- the dada is just babbling with no meaning ;-)  Enjoy all the words to come- time goes by too fast!

    I agree. To DS "dada" meant everything else. Now that the first word is out of the way he will be talking up a storm =)
