Yes. I spend more on his clothes then I do mine. I think I buy 1 new outfit a year if that. I tend to always have yoga pants or jeans. For the most part so does D but he looks cuter
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

To answer my own post (since I'm about to run out the door), sometimes yes.
I actually am pretty into fashion/clothes (worked in it for my whole career in NYC and it's always been something I'm personally interested in) but I find it SO much easier to find clothes for my girls -- they always look good in them (vs. me trying to find jeans to flatter my butt or a dress that fits well etc) and their clothes are cheaper to buy than mine so I do often put more thought into buying their clothes and I will say I definitely have made shopping for them a guilty pleasure and I shop much less for myself than I used to (even though my husband would probably raise his eyebrows and say I still shop too much!).

Yep. I spend way more money on her clothes, and I'm not happy with my post-pregnancy body, so I tend to give up on looking for my own clothes and head for the toddler section of any store I'm in. I have more fun shopping for her clothes anyway! I have bought myself a few new things in the past two years out of necessity, but I won't spend a lot of money because I keep hoping I'll lost the last few pounds and my body will miraculously get back into its pre-pregnancy shape!
yes although recently I've curtailed my spending on his clothes because it was getting out of control.
"Normal day, let me be aware of the treasured day you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart...let me hold you while I may."
I try to be put-together when we leave the house. I also make sure that DD looks nice and will dress her in certain outfits based on where we're going.
She's a pretty stylish kid...I get a lot of compliments when I take her out and she's wearing her purple pleather jacket! (Courtesy of my mom who got it on sale at H&M.)
Without a doubt, yes. I'm a SAHM so most days I don't even technically get dressed. I spend far more on his clothes than I ever would on mine. But I can't help it, everything looks cute on him!

No. I spend way too much money on clothes for myself and all three of my kids.
I dress them nicely, but certainly haven't neglected myself : )
Ditto! I love to shop for DD, but I still love to shop for myself- I would say we are both well dressed. The amount I money I spend on clothes for one child is just insane! LV if I had 3 kids I would need a second job!
Our Journey from two to three!
3 IUI's, 2 IVF's, decided to move to foster/adopt.
12/24/2009 Baby C born, 2/1/2010 placed with us,
5/17/2011 Adoption final- we are finally a forever family!
Heck yes. I feel like I have no "me" time anymore (and believe me, I'm not complaining about it and so my fashion has dropped off big time. I haven't had my hair cut since January, hardly wear make-up and I'm in yoga clothes pretty much all day long. But my LO's are usually always dressed very cute and coordinated
I do have to admit, I really enjoy when I can take a long shower and not worry about having to shower, shave my legs, wash my hair and brush my teeth all at the same time

DS just looks cuter so I spend more. I tend to do more classic clothing for him making it easier to buy well in advance. DH is worse than I am. The man has an iPad and a paypal account. I am always shocked by what shows up for DS.
Re: s/o fashion: does your kid(s) dress better than you?

I hate shopping for myself (although I like to look nice). Fitting my figure is a big fat headache.
Like a pper said - they look good in everything

I normally think people are a bit foolish for writing or saying 110% when 100% is the most it could be.
But yes, 110%!
They're cuter, easier to fit, and just way more fun!
