I need RL mommy friends

I only have one mommy friend and she is a SAHM and works on the weekends which really doesn't work with my schedule. I love my bff and I want her to have a baby so badly but her and her husband just aren't ready, they are "loving life". 

I really want Jack to have a little buddy to have play dates with, ok I'll admit it I want a mom buddy too!

 Should I put an ad on craigslist? J/k kinda Smile

    Me too - want to come over for a swim date when we get out of hurricane season?

    Join meet up! I swear it's the best thing for Parents cause everyone is in the same boat. We all just want some social interaction and make Friends. Most groups do activites on the weekends too! And it's so Cheap to join usually like 5$ for dues and you can Drop out whenever you feel like it. You will make tones of mommy friends. Also, music, gymbree anything like that you will meet other parents. If I lived in NJ would totally hang out w you..

    Oh I know what you mean. All of our friends have much older children. We just moved and in our new neighborhood there are lots of older children (1st grade and older) as well. While the neighborhood moms are nice it's hard to get together w/ any of them as they're carpooling their kids to brownies, soccer and dance. While Im still in the Sesame ST stage.

    ISO of mommy friends w/ toddler age kids.......would be an interesting craigslist ad.

    How far north?  The beach might be getting a lot closer to my house now so you can come here after the hurricane for a beach date.  I might need some help wringing out the rugs!!!
