Pregnant after IF

Officially second tri...but moving so slooooow!

I am happy to officially by all calculations be in 2nd tri, but man I feel like I have been pregnant forever!  I feel like everyone else's pregnancies fly by and before I know it they are giving birth, but for myself I feel like it is just dragging on.

  • I am sure time will start to fly since you are officially in the 2nd tri, but I feel your pain.  I feel like time between appointments is so slow!!

    Congrats on your 2nd tri!!

  • Congrats on 2nd tri...I remember feeling that way too from weeks 13-16, but I feel like once I had my a/s and then started feeling all the movement, pg started flying by....I was just telling DH that we really need to get a move on things.  My sisters babies were born at 36 weeks, and hard to believe that's getting really close for me!

i hope time picks up for you really soon!

  • Congrats on second tri!! For me the first trimester felt like an eternity, but now it's going so much faster. I had my 16 week appointment yesterday, and I could have sworn I was just there for my 12 week!

After 2 1/2 years TTC, 3 IUI's, endo, and a lap, a surprise BFP brought us Alexandra Marie!

  • i'm feeling exactly the same way.  I feel like every week is dragging, maybe because I'm just so anxious to get to the next week.  I said this to DH and he thought it was going fast.  Congrats on being in the 2nd Trimester! I can't wait to get there too in a week!

  • Congrats on moving on to second tri. I still feel is dragging, more so than first tri. Perhaps it's because there are so many little milestones at the beginning. I can't wait for my a/s. If you're doing it you have the NT scan to look forward. Smile

. No it won't!! 2nd tri lasts forever it seemed to me. And I had a ton of appointments (bi-weekly) throughout the 2nd tri. Have fun.

  • When I hit about 15 weeks if FLEW BY!  I can't believe how fast it felt. Then when I hit 31 weeks it slowed way back down again. :)

  • I understand. The first trimester seemed to drag the most. The second trimester flew by and so far the third trimester has gone by quickly although I am pretty sure that the last few weeks are going to seem like forever.

  • I remember posting this exact same thing around the 14 weeks mark. And that was a month ago..... I can't believe how fast the past month has gone!

Believe me, all of the ladies on the board told me it would start picking up, and I thought "YAY Right". But honestly it really does!!! :)  Hang in there and enjoy hun!

  • Congrats on hitting second tri!  It really will start to fly by a bit more now, and third tri is going by so fast for me!  The early part went so slowly, but the rest flies by!
