Dreading tomorrow...will be without LO's

I have a continuing ed class that I have to go to tomorrow. It's from 7:30 am until about 5:30 pm and the class is 45 minutes from our home.

This will be the longest time I've been apart from my LO's and I'm dreading it. Not only will I be away from them, but I'll only be able to pump 3 times tomorrow because we only get a small break for lunch...so that means pumping in my car and some sore gaboombas from being full.

My Dad and Step-Mom are coming up to relieve my DH because he is so swamped with work, but they won't be here until about 11:30, as my Dad has an appointment tomorrow morning.

There's no real point to this post, just me whining about missing my LO's. Thanks for letting me share my woes :(

  • You can do it!!  I feel your pain. I hate leaving LO even for the few short shifts I'm doing at work these days. We just love our babies SO much!  But I'm sure you will come home and your babies will be soooooo happy and excited to see you!

  • I am sorry you have to leave for the day, those first few times are so hard. If you are worried about pumping enough you might mention to the teacher what is going on. Maybe they can let you take a longer lunch or leave for a short break at another time to go pump. I am sure it will all go smoothly. ((((HUGS)))

  • I'm sorry you have to be away from your LOs tomorrow :-( It's so hard to be away from them, isn't it? I hope your day goes by quickly and you're able to get in some good snuggling time when you get home.
