This is kind of a weird question

So we are trying to get pregnant and I was surprised to find out that KY (and I'm sure other brands) is a spermicide. This is what I've read several places online. Has anyone else heard this or do I just live under a rock? Let's just I need it though since I'm still breastfeeding.

Buy some pre-seed, it's sperm friendly. It's supposed to create a healthy environment for the sperm to travel in. I used it while TTC both kids.

It's not a spermicide (or else it would be used as BC), but it's not the most sperm-friendly stuff on the planet. People can still get pregnant using it.

Preseed is one of the more well-known sperm-friendly lubes.

Right! Just slows 'em down I guess. I have heard of preseed, maybe I will try that.

I've heard of that but we used lubricant and got pregnant the first month we tried. If you are really concerned about it buy pre-seed. It's a special lubricant that's not supposed to impact fertility. GL

We don't use this (and we're TTC) but I recently learned this as well and made me pause and go- "huh". you know?

Might sound a bit strange but you can also use raw egg whites as a lubricant. Although due to a language barrier I had a patient use cooked egg whites...they got pregnant that cycle...maybe they are on to something. LOL Anyway...
