Trying to login to Target Registry-help.

Target recently changed there website this week and I am trying to add a few things to my registry but it is being a pain in the a**. Any idea how to get into your registry now? I logged in but it doesn't let me do anything other the "find" or "create" a registry - wtf!

  • I believe the manage function is still down. supposedly they are trying to fix it. Hopefully they do and soon. They are going to lose a lot of business.

  • I hadn't done a whole lot with my Target Registry so I ended up just creating a new one. I also got a baby guide/catalog thing from Target this week with a card on the back to get a $20 gift card with a new Baby Registry. 

     Of course this means I need to make sure to delete the original registry at some point so I don't cause a lot of confusion...but...I guess that's what I get for being impatient.

  • I have been trying to log in to it since they launched the new site with no luck, I have reset my password, waited 24 hrs, etc, and it still isn't working, I was going to call customer service tonight. Good luck!

  • If you go to find registry, you should be able to see your items.  Have you tried just shopping and seeing if there's an option to add to your registry when you click the item?
  • At the top there is a REGISTRY button next to the shopping cart. It has a pulldown and in that pulldown it says Manage my registry, click that. Then go to the tab that says My Items and you should be able to edit or delete items. It is working for me, so good luck, I hope you can get into it!

    Yeah it doesnt let me do that... tries to make me create a new one altogether. I think it is down judging the other ladies responses.

    I personally am not liking this new site design its a cluster f***.

    Yeah, I just tried it too with no luck.  And I don't have "manage" in the registry drop-down menu like PP said.  Weird. 

  • I was having the same problems. I contacted Target and this was their response:

    "We?re sorry to hear that you are not able to locate your registry on our Target.com site. In order to find your registry even we would need some details; please mention some more information (like; event, event date).

     

    In order to assist you further, you'll need to create a new registry. Please reply to us with your new Target list ID. Once we'll get that information, we'll be glad to combine your registries on Target.com."

  • I was on the phone with them for about 2 hrs today.  It's all messed up.  I had to create a new registry, and they had to copy all of my stuff over to that one.  It's still being a pain.  GL, but all I can suggest is to call the registry people.

    MFI, Moving onto IVF-ICSI.
    IVF #1 = BFP - sadly a blighted ovum discovered at 7 wks.
    D+C 12/7/10.
    IVF#2 - ER 3/27. 8 fertilized. ET 4/1; transferred 2 blasts; 2 frosties (total of 3 now)
    Beta #1, 4/11 = 291! Beta#2, 4/18 = 2702. Beta #3, 4/25 = 17303.
    Ultrasound #1, 4/29 = 1 perfect baby and heartbeat!.
    7/21 = a/s! It's a boy!!
    Robert Lawrence was born on December 1st at 4:32 am weighing 6lb 3oz, 19.5 inches long and healthy as anything!!

  • I thought it was just me.  My whole registry disappeared, so I just started working on a new one.  So frustrating!!!  I can't remember anything that was on there now.

  • I had the same problem. it was finally fixed this morning. (i have the manage your registry button) it was messing some items and some random items were on it but at least now i was able to add and delete things. i guess the only thing to do is wait,wait and wait.

  • I was panicked the other day because of this. Apparently you have to log off completely and then go back to registries and click manage registry when it gives you that option and then you'll always have your registry there to click on when you go back. 

    I hope that makes sense. just make sure you're not logged into your target and then click on the registry icon before you sign in or anything.

  • I'm able to get in, manage, add etc no problem. I'm in Northern California. I wonder if it's a regional thing?

  • I couldn't access my old one either, so I created a new one and sent them an email asking them to delete the old one they will delete it but recommend you wait 72 hours before altering the new one.
  • Mine is working now also. Not well and fast, but it is working.

    I have also read that if you used your amazon ID to set up you registry, you might end up having to redo it. Since the new site isn't going to link to amazon IDs anymore it seems.

  • I am also have a similar problem.  It seems to me like my login is no longer linked to my registry.  If I try to manage mine it acts like I don't have one, even though the one I made is still up.  I sent them an email to see what was up two days ago and they have yet to reply to me.
