So I was just reading someone's post about sterilizing bottles, etc. Am I the only dumb person that didn't know you can put this stuff in the dishwasher? Is there a risk of the plastic leeching chemicals during the heated dry cycle or am I totally making that up? do you guys put the stuff on the top rack for a whole (heated) cycle?
Re: Bottles and pump parts in dishwasher?
I don't, but more because we don't run the dishwasher more than once every few days. When I do put anything of DS's in the dishwasher (the bottles we feed with if he has one at home), I put them on the top shelf and run the sanitize cycle.
The pump stuff (including pump bottles), I just hand wash and use the Medela micro-steam bags every few days.
