can you please tell me that YOU had super bad back and lower gut cramps around 6 weeks, and you were fine? My bloodhound nose and sore bewbs took the day off, so I'm in anxiety hell. It is what it is. But I'm up north with The Family Davez.... So.... Someone tell me a story. Lol.

I did with G. I was at the t-ttc gtg in Chicago and had to lay down for like 4 hours my cramps were so bad the first afternoon and then that evening my lower back was killing me and I had to sit down for a while. Totally normal. Hang in there!!

I don't remember specifics, but I did have back pain and cramps in the first tri. I do remember taking tylenol on a couple of occasions to get them to stop just so I wouldnt worry as much. I also spotted about twice a week until week 13 or 14.

YES. It got bad for a few days and I kept going to the bathroom and fearing the worst. It happened with both of the boys right around 6 weeks. Is there any way they can sneak you in for an ultrasound to ease your mind a bit?

I certainly had very very frequent and semi intense lower abdominal cramps at that time. I freaked out about EVERYTHING so I cant tell you not to be anxious except for that all turned out fine with me and my boob soreness varied from day to day too!

Yes! I was 5 1/2 weeks pregnant with DS and I had the worst cramps I'd ever felt. I ran to the bathroom in the middle of the night fearing the worst. I remember e-mailing SmudgesMom about how scared I was, so I tracked down the e-mail for you, and yep, I was exactly 5 1/2 weeks. He was just snuggling in, where he stayed, virtually complication free, for 39.5 weeks.

I wanted to add that my cramping was much worse with the subsequent pregnancies. Doc said the uterus grow faster becuase it has done this all before, so more intense cramping.

I can tell you that I'm having mild cramps and some pretty uncomfortable lower back pains and I'm right around 6 weeks. I hope it is a good thing!

I did... I had some pretty bad cramping throughout the whole first trimester (and back pain through my whole pregnancy) with DD. I had spotting too, so I was sure something was wrong. But the doctor assured me it was normal.

My friend had major cramping with her 2nd, and her doctor told her it was super common to have more cramping after you already have one because your uterus expands faster (it knows what to do!)

Me! With DD1, not with this one. But yeah, I had no other symptoms and terrible cramping, just like AF was coming. I was convinced she was coming. Cramping continued for a couple weeks, IIRC.
