LP Defect

Hi there!

I usually am on TTTC, but someone suggested I post my question here :)

My doc has determined that our fertility issue seems to be a luteal phase defect.  I am going in tomorrow and will start on the fertility meds this month.  For those of you that have had this....what are your experiences like?  What meds were you given and/or how long until you had success/got pregnant after starting? Thanks!

    My info is in my siggy. My RE decided to put me on Clomid then Femara w/ insects (aka mini stim) to help with my egg quality. As well as progesterone to help with my lp. The progesterone did help with my lp, it went from 10-11 days to over 15.

    I did 2 rounds of clomid (neither of which seemed to help my LP)  and then went on progesterone while we were waiting for hubby's count to come back up. I got pregnant when I was only taking progesterone.

    If you aren't seeing an RE already, then I highly recommend it. The RE could actually take a look at the type of egg I was producing, my lining, etc. It was all VERY useful!

    After 2 years of TTC, our daughter was born on Oct 31, 2011!
