Sorry to be a PW!
1. Please recommend your wet bag.
2. We make our own detergent with 2 parts pure soap flakes to 1 parts borax, washing soda and baking soda. I was reading back on older posts about having two detergents and I wanted to know which part of the recipe was harmful to either my baby or the diapers?
3. Do you soak your dirty diapers in a pail after use or just leave them in a wet bag/basket?
Re: Edited: And three CD questions...
I second the MFD ones. PlanetWise makes good wet bags, too, but they're not as sturdy as MFD, in my opinion.
That detergent is fine for clothes, but you can't use soap on diapers as it causes repelling. You can use this recipe from the Eco Friendly Family Blog on Cloth Diapers if you want to make your own. I haven't had good luck, long term, with any homemade detergents on my CDs- we use Tide on CDs and homemade on everything else.

Edited to add: There's no reason to soak diapers. That's called the "wet pail" method, and nobody really does it anymore. I store in a zippered hanging wetbag. Poops get flushed and the diaper sprayed off before going in the wetbag.
1. Please recommend your wet bag. Planetwise Hanging Bag. I love it, it keeps the smells in and is the perfect size for washing on every third day.
3. Do you soak your dirty diapers in a pail after use or just leave them in a wet bag/basket? I just leave them in the wet bag. No soak necessary.

2. I think you aren't supposed to use the soap flakes on diapers.
3. Leave them in the pail liner/wetbag until they go in the washer.
1. hated planetwise, personally, trying KangaCare now. they are huge and seem nice!
2. No soap flakes. Rest is fine. EFF blog detergent has oxyclean too I think. (it's been a while since I've made it... LOL)
3. no soak here. they go from pail (dry) to wash and get a rinse and then hot wash and then another quick cycle w/ extra rinse and into the dryer!
