Anyone else...

totally freak out when your LO takes a freakishly long nap?  DS is headed towards three hours, and usually he goes no longer than 1 (although, I guess he has had at least one 2 hour nap a day the last several days...) Maybe he's moving into a phase, but I keep putting my hand on his chest to make sure he's still breathing.  And of course, instead of being productive and folding laundry, I'm bumping and pinning.

  • Totally normal at our house. DS' afternoon nap is typically 3 hours long. I get a lot done. I nap as well, then do some house chores as well. He typically wakes up about the time DH gets home so he's in a great mood and ready to play with DH.

  • DD napped for 3.5 hours today and it made me a little uneasy!  Poor baby has been exhausted all day.  Her long naps are normally around 2-2.5 hours long.

  • Will isn't the best napper lately, but when he takes two one-ish hour naps and one 3 or even 4 hour nap he's in the best mood!  This happens maybe once a week... I wish it would become more of a habit!
