I occasionally hold my breast with the hand on that side when he is feeding to help things along. DS has recently been holding onto my thumb like it's a handle. So cute.

Also when I feed him on the right side he tends to "talk" to me. I think it's because that side has a slower letdown and I always say that he's "complaining about the table service".

ETA: He also sometimes tickles my side under my arm. I jump when he does it because I'm not always expecting it!

) I have now replaced 3 chains for my necklace. Good thing I have a ton of them laying around!

For the last couple days, when he's close to done, Max pulls of the boob, looks at me with milk running all over, smiles a flirty smile, then dives at the boob as hard as he can, sometimes with a growl. It's like some weird kind of peekaboo, but it seems to make him happy. Seeing that he's screamed at me most of the day today, I'm glad you posted this, so I can remember my baby is NOT a demon.

Once while trying to NIP discretely in a restaurant with extended family at the table DD decided to laugh up a storm. She'd suck, pull off, laugh like crazy, and then get back to business for a moment before doing it over and over again. It was adorable. Lately she's been picking my nose.

I have 3 things DD always does simultaneously while eating , and hopefully I can describe them right. She rubs my lower back with her left hand, she holds my index finger with her right hand and then she uses her feet to kick/push my left boob. I pretty much feet from the right most of the time left has slow let down and she gets mad and bites

. Oh, and if you ask FI biting is one of the "cute" things she does while BFing....

Definitely these. DS also likes to explore my face with his hand. Usually when he's not longer ravenously hungry he wants me to "munch" on his hand, at which point he's alllll smiles.

DS also frequently uses his free hand for all sorts of things, from his "woe is me" wrist on forehead move, to putting his hand on my other boob (reassuring himself it's still here? No idea.), to grabbing my nose and pinching. I had to take my nose ring out because he kept making my nose bleed!

The price we pay... and how worth it they are!

If I try to use a cover while NIP she immediately rips it off and gives me this look like " WTH why did you put that over me"

She also holds my boob tight with both hands like I'm going to take it away.

Sometimes when she is really hungry she will make a noise when she laches on that sounds like "nom nom nom nom"

Mine does this, too!

This for us too. He rears his head back and smiles his ost appealing smile, then literally dives back in. Sometimes I swear there is mi flying all over during this dance. The best is when dh was in and he pops off to look at him, then dives back on, ps off to look and giggle, dives back in, rinse repeat. Also when I ask dh to hold him while I get situated H will stare like a laser beam at my boobs. DH can't walk backwards or move him further away or he will freak out. It's like he doesn't want to move backwards in the process of getting to the boob. If he is two feet away that is fine but do not bring him back to 2.5 feet, once he has reached the one foot mark then two feet is no longer acceptable. He will also lean as far towards me as possible and fling his weight to me. He has been doing this since birth.

Occasionally my daughter will go through bouts of being VERY smiley. Every few minutes she will unlatch, look up at me, and smile wide- some times she even coos. I love it.

I wear a nursing tank pretty much every day, and yesterday DS was lying on his side on the Boppy and had his upper hand wrapped around one strap, his lower hand wrapped around the middle of the bra part of the tank, and one of his feet through the other strap. DH said I could just stand up and walk around without holding onto DS.

DS always smiles right before he is done nursing. I joke that that is how I know he has had enough.

He also likes to wiggle and squirm until he is nursing kneeling in my lap with his head at my boob and his legs on mine. It is quite a pain to nurse him this way, but he seems to like it the best.

He puts his hand on my boob like its a bottle. He holds onto the lower part of my bra between my boobs like its his handle. When he's finished he pulls off smiles and lets out the loud sigh almost like he's saying, "thanks mom, i'm full"

DS will stop eating and smile at me. When he's full, he'll fling himself backwards all dramatic-like. He also likes to hold on to the boob he's feeding off of.

Funny story: last night, I was laying down nursing, which I haven't done in a while. SO was in the room, so DS wasn't concentrating on eating & would keep turning to look at SO. SO started to play around and acted like he was going to nurse. Every time he got close to my boob, DS would push his little hands into SO's face and try to shoo him away.

She has done most of the thing's PP's have said. Right now she puts her free arm up in the air until let down, then she grabs my hair (which is really long) and pulls it into her mouth while she is eating. Yesterday she also had her finger shoved up my nose and kept rooting around.

So this isn't really funny, but my first would pinch my arm so hard that she would bruise me. This went on for about 2 months and I seriously looked like I was beaten, I had bruises upon bruises. It was really painful.

DS holds my shirt up out of his way. He also likes to rub my breast as he nurses. DD used to pinch my other nipple while she nursed. I actually had to get her a nursing necklace b/c she was hurting me.

Ollie grunts when he's closed to finished, then smiles while still latched on. When my nipple falls out of his mouth he hurries and smooshes it back into his mouth by pushing on the side of my boob. He lifts his hand up to my face because he wants me to pretend to eat it. He strokes my bangs when I lean in a little. He adjusts his head to the right position sometimes to eat by gently moving his head back and forth several times. He keeps his toes flailed out wide if he was really hungry before eating. He also swirls his hair around with his free hand.
