You know the days when you are too BUSY to make food? And maybe, occasionally, you are sent out for fast food (just before the baby gets hungry again)?
Went to our local Culver's this August. There was a large order to-go, and to my horror, when I got home, my husband's entire meal was missing. I checked the receipt-it was a packing error.
BUT-we couldn't leave, and my parents were busy leaving town. I thought about calling the next day, but didn't find the receipt until day 5. Went in yesterday (less than two weeks after the fact) and they said they couldn't replace or refund the meal because "we have no way of telling whether you're telling the truth."
REALLY?!
...would you have had a way of knowing if I had turned around five minutes after receiving the meal?
Now, we had brought DD to Culver's the day we sorted this out. Daddy was finally going to get his meal, I was going to buy mine. Instead, we got a business card and were told to call the store's GM, who had already been called by phone and refused service. We had to pack up DD and call for pizza as we passed the front register.
I was so insulted.
Any similar, non-family-friendly experiences?
