Prepping question

I've just received my new SBish snapless and I'm waiting for My bumboos to arrive. I know I need to do a full prep on all Of those. I've also bought some EUC prefolds and EUC SBish OBF as well as am Borrowing some hemp PFs from a friend. Do I need to strip the used stuff before I wash it? And do you think it needs a full prep? Thanks!

Re: Prepping question

  • No stripping unless you have repelling issues, and even then you want to try and avoid it! You may be confusing stripping with boiling with dawn soap? The soap helps breakdown the oils in the fabric. But you have enough to run everything through the wash and not boil.

Full prep is needed on all natural fibers.  4-6 wash/dry cycles.  Some people don't dry each time, but I think it only helps prepping to dry.

ETA: the used stuff may already be prepped (can't see your OP when I edit), if so, you can wash once.
