Intro and AF?

Hi all! I should have been on here sooner! DS on 3/3/11. :-)

In lurking, it seems like most have had AF return. We EBF and absolutely no sign of AF returning yet. Am I a weirdo?

We've started using protection anyway, but I find it really annoying since I have no way of knowing if we even need to. :-/

Mar '12: Homestudy interrupted by change in Uganda requirements - where do we go from here?
After searching and searching, back with Uganda but with our homestudy agency's program.
Homestudy complete July 19
USCIS I-600A submitted July 20. Biometrics appointments arrived Aug 17; fingerprinted Aug 21; 171H received Sept 25th. On the wait list Oct 1st: #18. By Jan 25th, we're #13!

    congrats and welcome!

    We ebf too and no signs of AF. I am using the mini pill since its too hard to chart right now and not even close to being ready for #2 if we decide to have #2.

    I EBF and no AF yet. I was told it could be up to a year before it returns. I'm on the mini-pill as extra protection for now, but yeah, I've been tempted a couple times to POAS! That unknowing feeling is a tad uncomfortable for sure.

    I also EBF and had Mirena inserted at 6 PP. I had a little spotting right after i got it but nothing since then. There is a chance i won't have one at all. Wouldn't mind that I guess.

    I pumped for 2 months and still haven't had AF return.  I'm getting concerned because I have PCOS and I thought it had subsided after I lost a bunch of weight and got pregnant, but maybe not.  :/

    I've a friend who has PCOS and was told by every doc in town that she would never bear children. She has two daughters now. ;-) She lost a bunch of weight too! Congrats!

    Welcome to the board!

     I EBF and still have zero sign of AF, and couldn't be happier.  I was on mini pill for a couple months then decided I hated it and we're ok if we end up with another close so we're skipping protection. 

    If you're ok with another LO (although odds of this happening without AF are lower), skip protection.  If you want to have more space between LOs then I'd say keep using it.

    welcome to the board!!!

    i only breastfed for a month and got my period about 6 weeks after i stopped because of birth control. but it has been waaaaay lighter and almost no cramps. i'm shocked.
