Pregnant after IF

Update on Roary :)

My brother took my baby to the vet for me, the Dr. said there was blood in her urine so he highly suspected a bladder infection. He was able to cath her to get some urine out and also I guess because she was scared she pooped so thank God exits seems to be working now.

He gave her an antibiotic shot and told me to make sure she drinks more water. He said I could try adding water to her food, and also I am going to try getting another water fountain so each cat has their own place to drink freely. I think I will also look into some kind of maintainence food for her as well.

Thanks for all the Ts and Ps, hopefully my baby girl on on the mend !

Re: Update on Roary :)

  • That's great news!  You should really look into getting one of these, especially if you have multiple cats: https://www.amazon.com/Drinkwell-D360-RE-360-Pet-Fountain/dp/B001NIZAH6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1314213125&sr=8-2.  It has been great and my two babies have never (knock on wood) had any UTIs or anything.

Since it keeps the water moving, it encourages them to drink more water and they seem to love drinking it from the stream.  You can make different amounts of spouts depending on how many cats you have, but we just have the two.  It works well and lets them both drink at once.

  • I'm so glad she's OK! And I second the drinkwell!! My cats LOVE their fountain and drink constantly. My girl still gets UTIs, but I think she's just prone to them. She sits in its spot and waits for its return when we clean it!!

Thanks for that link ! Right now I have a PetMate water fountain and both my girls love to drink from it but I've never seen them drink at the same time.. Though that is probably because there is only one stream! So I will definitely look into getting this fountain with the multiple streams. The price is not that much more than what I paid for my PetMate which is awesome !
