What to expect at first exam?

I have my very first "exam" on Tuesday at 11w5d. I saw the OB once before and just got random info. I'm just wondering what they'll check on me physically at this one? Do they look at your cervix and all that this early?

    Depends on your doctor.

    My OB was going to do a pap since I was due, but I had been spotting so I declined.

    I got weighed, b/p, and an u/s. He answered my questions..that was it. Pretty quick.

    b/w=FSH 15.6, AMH 0.4 surprise natural BFP on 3/12/11
    DS born via unplanned C-section at 40w6d

    Mine did a pap since I was due, doppler for heartbeat but did u/s instead because I asked, weight, blood pressure, and got sent for a ton of bloodwork (I think it was 5 vials worth).  That's it - it was easy and painless :)

    They'll probably make you pee in a cup, and check your weight and blood pressure. I also had an u/s and she checked their heartbeats with a doppler. She did a pap but it was a few weeks after my first visit with her.

    Pee in a cup, doppler, a ton of bloodwork, physical exam, weight, bp, a bunch of questions - my 1st appt took waaay longer than I had anticipated!

    I had my first appointment today, and I had a PAP (mine was due anyway, but I think they typically do one if you haven't had one within a year).  They also took 6 tubes of blood and I had to pee in a cup and all that.  They also did another vag. u/s. 
    On a TTC journey since March 2010 that is making me more appreciative of life and love. 7/20 -- Surprise phone call from RE after lap pre-op appt-- BFP! 8/5 -- Ultrasound #1 8/12 -- Ultrasound #2 Pregnancy Ticker My Imperfect Pursuit of Gardening

    Thanks girls! I've already had 2 ultrasounds and did the blood work and the pee in a cup, so I guess we'll see!
